Flying Unicorn Mojo Monday Sketch

HI everyone! It is my turn to create with the Mojo Monday Sketch at the Flying Unicorn and this is the fun sketch created by Tammy! I have used Prima Engraver collection and lots of other goodies from the Flying Unicorn store.

  

 

The background has a Prima and a Crafters Workshop mask. I also used lots of Shimmerz mists in the background.

 

I finished it off with Bobunny and Petaloo flowers and a few other goodies.

Flying Unicorn Mid Month Muse – Media Inspired kit

Hi Everyone! The Flying Unicorn Mid Month Muse – Media Inspired kit is now available and it was so much fun to work with. I have two of my creations to share with you and will be back in a few days to share a BAP also. First up is a wall hanging that I created with the chipboard pieces that come in the kit. They are black so I have covered them with some paper and used the kit mists and chalk inks to create the background.

The chippys are from Dusty Attic, the ribbon is from May Arts and the Flowers are all from Prima and they are available in the store.

 

Such a fun project to make.

 

Ok I also have a layout to share with you. It is loaded with goodies that come in this Mixed Media kit.

 

Love these large chippy letters in the kit. They are finished with the kit mists and inks.

 

The kit is loaded with these amazing metal Adornments too….I definitely need more of these!

 

I also did a bit of stamping with the grunge stamp in the kit. Hurry to the store to get your kit now.

In Your Eyes **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout that I have created with the new 13 ARTS Faces of Spring Collection, now available at the Flying Unicorn store! I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch at the Flying Unicorn.

I did some masking in the background with a Prima mask and some Shimmerz Dazzlerz. The Chippys are a combination of Kaisercraft and DustyAttic ones and they are all finished with some Shimmerz mists.

 

The flowers are all Manor House and the cute little metal heart is a Flying Unicorn Adornment.

Mixed Media Canvas **Flying Unicorn - Shimmerz**

Hi everyone. I am here today with a canvas created with one of the new collections at the Flying Unicorn store. I have  used the new Friday the 13th 100% Collection on the base of this fun canvas.

I then did lots of masking with a Prima mask and Shimmerz Texturez all over the canvas front and sides. The new Shimmerz Dazzlerz and Textures have so so much dimension and they are my new favs for masking with.

Next I added lots of Shimmerz mists to the background.

I finished it off with some Dusty Attic chippys, Petaloo and Manor House flowers, May Arts trims and some burlap.

Last lets add a few of the cool Prima metal embellishmnets.

Cafe **DT Fabscraps and Shimmerz**

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share using the fun new Milkshake Chic Collection from Fabscraps  and lots of yummy Shimmerz Texturez and Dazzlerz products.

This new Fabscraps collection  has so many fun cut outs to add to your creations. The cute metal hearts are also from Fabscraps. Here you can see the shine on the Shimmerz Dazzlerz Spun Sugar.

I added a bit of Texturez Crushed Coral masking as well. The Fabscraps chippys are finished with some Shimmerz Before Dawn Vibez.

I also did a bit of crackle masking with some Dazzlerz Licorice Stick and added more cutouts from the Milkshake Chic collection on top of my masking.

 

This was a fun layout to create...the photo is of my mom. I do not have many photos of her and she is just too too cute in this one. Thanks for coming by! Take care and happy scrapping!!

Card BAP Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone…Today I have a BAP Card or shall we say BAC LOL! I have used the Flying Unicorn June Kit of the Month “A Ray of Magic” to create it…so lets get started.

1. I have used a piece of Cardstock cut to 6 x 9. I used some of the Coordiniations cardstock with the add on. Distress the edges. Than I cut the Canvas Corp Small Script paper to a size just a big smaller than the cardstock piece. Distress these edges as well.

 

2. Make a center fold on each and glue them together.

 

3. Now lets tear off a piece of the box that the kit came in…I always used the kit boxes for my corrugated board in the background.

 

4. Attach the corrugated board to the card and add some gesso to it. I also added a piece of twine from my stash.

 

5. In the Embellishment add on, there are some Pink Paislee paper goods pieces. Use some Ranger Distress ink, ink up all those edges and add some twine to a few of them.

 

6. Next I used the left over piece of cardstock and cut out 2 hearts. I also cut out 2 hearts from one of the Authentique papers. Ink all the edges and tie some twine around the patterned hearts.

  

7. Now I start to arrange the pieces on my card and I have tucked in some May Arts Web Weave Ribbon from the store.

 

8. All of the flowers are from the Flower Add on with the kit.

 

Well that is it…….a simple yet cute card to say thanks to someone special. I hope you all try one.
