You Are What I Never Knew I Always Wanted.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Wow it is almost December. It certainly looks like the holidays around here, everything looks so white and clean outside. Before you know it, it will be 2011.. eeeks...I have two layouts today to show you.

I just fell in love with the title in this layout and thought this photo was perfect for it. The bottom paper is Pink Paislee House of Three, and I think the top one with the cages is My Mind’s Eye…silly me I cut off the paper name and chucked it before adding to my blog J  The big oval is Artsy Licious flocked paper, it truly is so much more beautiful in person to see it, as well as the navy blue flowers, the photo just does not do either justice.

I cut out all the swirls with my cricut.  Below is a close up of the flower cluster with the larger swirl I use white smootch on this swirl.
I cut out smaller swirls to go around the oval, and used liquid pearls on them. I cut out one of the cages from the paper and used some pop ups under it and some ribbon.
This next layout is titled, A Day to Remember. It is also my grandson Johnathan. Love the little  hat he is wearing and warm lambs blanket under him. The bottom paper is Old World and the top is My Mind’s Eye, Meadow Lark.

Below is a close up of the flower cluster, I used some rub ons under them as well as a cut out with pop ups. I made all the flowers in this layout and used stickles on them. I did quite a bit of inking with Versa Magic Chalk Inks on this layout.
I used a Martha Stewart punch behind the photo and another rub on in the top corner. I added a Prima Say it with Pearls in various spots after I was all done.
Thanks for stopping in to take a peek. I hope that you all have a great week. Feel free to leave some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

2 cute

This was a fun layout, more new things for me in it. I am trying out a photo editing program and this is what I did to the photo of grand daughter Kylee. I used K&Company papers and did a lot of sewing around the outside edges.
I folded down the top corner before I did the sewing, then I inked around the edges with some chalks. I added some Webster’s bloomers and a rose in the corner. I framed the photo with a Basic Grey chippy frame and added some liquid pearls to it. The title is white chip board that I chalked and stamped. I cut out a few butterflies and used stickles on them.
I cut out some swirls with my cricut and used lots of pop ups under them for dimension. Here is a close up of the flower cluster, with stamping done under it.
Here is a close up of the side swirl with some roses added to it. You can also see the chalking and sewing that I did on this layout.
I hope that you all have a great week, and Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends. Thanks as always for looking. Feel free to leave some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Hand made Lilies and lots of Blooms

Hello and thanks for stopping by. Winter is starting to set in here now, had our first snow fall yesterday. Now things are starting to look white outside and the holidays are going to creep up very very fast. I have two layouts today to post. The first one is called “Get Me to the Church on Time” The photo is myself and my daughter, we are at Caesars Palace and getting ready to leave for the ceremony. The bottom paper is from My Mind’s Eye and the top one is from Bobunny.
In the top corner I used a My Mind’s Eye brad and some pearls, the Lilies I made myself and hope to post a tut soon on them. The leaves I cut out with my cricut....then I added some stickles to them.

On the bottom I used some Pink Paislee Ruffles, a swirl made from stickles and liquid pearls (on a note…when you cover your layout with a protector sheet, you do not see the transparency used for the swirl) and some lace and ribbon trims.

The next layout is of my grand daughter Kylee….Memories in Bloom. I thought the title suited the layout, so many blooms on this layout. The paper is from Prima and is just beautiful. You almost do not want to alter it at all. I used some papers from my stash for the folded back papers. I used distressing inks on them and added another hand made swirl from stickles.
The close up of the Blooms….I made the fan but using a punch then just folding the paper.
I used some Prima Pearls also in this layout.
I hope that you all have a great weekend.  Thanks as always for looking. Feel free to leave some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
