Dashing Through the Snow **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone and happy December 1st! Wow I can not believe how fast this year has gone by! Today at the Flying Unicorn there is a bunch of new challenges starting for the month of December. My challenge is called “Jingles” and your project must be winter themed and have a “Jingle” in the title. For my layout I have used the gorgeous Woodland Winter Collection from the Paper Company and it is available in the FlyingUnicorn store. I also used a sketch from Scrap Friends to create this.

I have done lots of masking, distressing, stamping and lots of paint splatters on this one.

I also tucked some Dusty Attic snow flake chippys in with the flower clusters and they are also available in the Flying Unicorn store.

Well that is it for today. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Come on by the forums and join in our fun. Lots of amazing RAKS up for grabs each month. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Perfect **Green Tara**

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! Today I have a layout to share using so much yummy Green Tara goodies on it. This layout is of my new grandson and is called “perfect”. Hehe...look at him he is just a doll! Lots of masking, distressing and the Green Tara products finished off this layout perfectly. I just love how the flowers, lace, leaves and ribbon just all go so perfectly together. I also used the sketch from Once Upon a Sketch for this layout.

For the main flower cluster I have used the New Heirloom silk and organza flowers, and then I tucked in some cherry blossoms and roses. I have also used some skeleton leaves.

I have framed the photo with a fun Dusty Attic chippy swirl and added a paper string bow to it. I love this Green Tara paper string, it just forms and stays in place perfectly! I have also misted some yummy Green Tara lace and tucked in pieces here and there.

Here is the smaller cluster and I have added touches of gesso to some flowers.
Well that is it for me today, thank you so much for stopping by. I have posted below all the yummy Green Tara products used for this layout. Don’t forget to “follow” us on our Facebook page and the Green Tara Blog, there is always lots of Green Tara inspiration here and there.

Nutcracker Sweet **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone! There is a big Christmas sale going on right now at the Flying Unicorn and I have a few projects I have made with the yummy G45 Nutcracker Sweet Collection. First up is a fun layout with lots of layers and fussy cutting. First I used one sheet, the red one, and fussy cut out the background and used pop ups to give it that shadow box look.

I added in some gorgeous Green Tara flowers and ribbons and added touches of gesso here and there to make things pop.

I love this little guy that I fussy cut from the collection papers. He is just so cute!

Next I have a shaped card and two tags from the same collection. There is so many fussy cut elements on these papers that making your own embellishments and layers are so so easy.

Don’t forget that there is a sale in the Flying Unicorn store right now. ALL Christmas products are 20 % off….just use coupon code “Holiday” when you are checking out. A Perfect Day **CT Flying Unicorn - Green Tara**

Hi everyone and happy Saturday! So are you all getting ready for the hustle and bustle season that is approaching fast? I have got quite a bit of my shopping done, but still have to decorate. Today I have a layout to share with you that I created for CSI. The Flying Unicorn is the sponsor there this month and we got to work with the case files! FUN! For this layout I have used a weird photo of some statues that I got on a wine tour earlier this year…..they were so different LOL! I have used a collection from 7 DOTS, which you can purchase at the Flying Unicorn store. I have also added in lots of gorgeous Green Tara flowers and lace.

The Scene: use all colors in the palette and the sketch. Check. I also did lots of masking in the background and machine stitching.

The Evidence: I have used some mesh, flourishes and gold metal accents. The metal is in the Stampendous embossing enamel. If you have never used this stuff it is amazing! You can pick it up at the Flying Unicorn store too! Here you can see the mesh in the background with the embossing enamel. I have added strips of Green Tara lace for added texture. All of the flowers are also from GT and I have added touches of gesso to them to finish them off.

Testimony: I used inspiration words and added flourishes to my journaling. The bird cage and title words are from Dusty Attic and all of the flowers in this cluster are also from Green Tara.

Case solved! Weeeee !

Well that is it for today. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

There is lots of distressing, masking with gesso and fussy cutting.  I just love fussy cutting…it relaxes me hehe.

I have misted the small peachy colored Green Tara flowers to get them just right for this layout, and I must say they misted perfectly. I tucked them in with more gorgeous GT flowers and added some GT paper string bows to finish it off.

Remember This **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone and happy Monday! I have the day off so I got to get in a bit of scrappy time and this is what I made this morning. I have used a couple of collections from Bo Bunny. Etc and Gabrielle…I also used some of the new yummy Bo Bunny flowers. Right now Bo Bunny has a challenge going on where you use two flower clusters with a photo on each. I have also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch from the Flying Unicorn and all supplies from the Flying Unicorn store. The photos are my daughter just a couple of weeks before baby was born.

This is also an inspiration layout for Denise’s challenge at the Flying Unicorn. Lots of stitching, masking, inking, paint, stamping, distressing and liquid pearls. I took apart the Bo Bunny flowers to make 2 pieces from each and tucked a couple of the back pieces in here.

The tag is from the ETC collection and the butterflies fussy cut from the Gabrielle collection.

I finished it all off by adding touches of gesso here and there and tucking in some gauz and twine bows.

Well that is it for today. I hope that you all have a fabulous week. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

dream **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone and welcome. As some of you know I was gone for a bit when my daughter had her son in October. Well here he is….Mr Teeny Tiny weighed in at 5 pounds 10 ounces. They are all doing great and this is his coming out layout LOL! He is just so so adorable. I have used lots of Prima goodies from the Flying Unicorn store and this months BAP sketch at Prima. Lots of distressing, fussy cutting and masking on this one.

I am also using this as inspiration for Maggi’s challenge at the Flying Unicorn…you had to use a poem. I found this short one on the internet…author unknown. I have used  some Prima masks with molding paste and added some PanPastel to them.

Close up of the corner masking and the cute little layered heart with the Shabby Chic zipper on it.

One more close up.

Well that is it for today. I hope that you all have a fabulous weekend. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
